  • Design and develop simple networks for:
    • TCP/IP
      • WAN and LAN
      • Layers 1, 2, and 3 switching and routing
    • Ethernet/IP
    • Modbus TCP
    • Modbus RTU
  • Scan networks and identify nodes and potential issues
    • Wire shark
    • SNOOP

IIoT

  • MQTT
  • Database design
  • AZURE and AWS IIoT

Electrical Design

  • Design and support
    • Control panel
    • Electrical one-line (480v and below)
    • Electrical wiring layouts and specification (To include C1D1, SIL 2)

End Device

  • Specify, Design, and Support

Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalency certificate
  • 2 year automation technology degree or 4 year degree in electrical engineering
  • In absence of a higher education degree – a minimum of 5 years of direct experience and may be subject to extensive testing and training upon hiring.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in electrical design creating schematics for customized automation controls or HMI/PLC programming language experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Hold valid driver’s license and have ability to drive to remote locations
  • Pass safety and physical requirements of project sites
