This position handles much of the initial face to face interaction with clients and regularly checks in during projects to make sure commitments are being kept. Further, this position will develop other associates into being self supportive business development professionals.
You would be responsible for working with marketing group to assist achieving company goals. Responsible for keeping CRM up to date and managing how the company responds to the results of marketing activities.
Regularly, you will develop new potential clients and meet with them to understand their needs and goals while explaining our capabilities and how they may fit.
As a new company this role is not set in stone. Responsibilities and duties will be developed with the candidate to put into the company into the highest chance of success.
Must enjoy technology and learning about technology, meeting new people, presenting technical and sometimes complicated information to both technical and non-technical people.
We prefer someone who has developed business in the past for service-oriented companies directly to industrial facilities and engineering firms. We are open to developing the open roles of business development for the right people.
- High school degree or equivalency certificate
- A minimum of 5 years of direct experience and may be subject to extensive testing and training upon hiring.
- Hold valid driver’s license and have ability to drive to remote locations
- Pass safety and physical requirements of project sites
